Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of Gosaulake, hugged by towering mountains, and offering a mesmerizing view of the Hoher Dachstein glacier.
Maybe you dream of a crystal-clear lake with a variety of blue hues reflecting the huge Bluntau Valley? All this in just one day? This is what we did today with my guests from Australia.
We started our tour from Salzburg, stopped by the Wolfgangsee, visited Mozart’s mother’s house where Mozart also lived for some years, and then headed to Hallstatt where we walked in this magical town and got lost in the beauty of the surrounding nature.
Then we drove to Lake Gosau, had a tasty lunch in the restaurant with a lake view, tried the local deer ragout, and walked around the lake with its spectacular panorama of the Dachstein Glacier and the Gosaukamm.
For our last destination, we stopped by the Bluntautal, walked around the crystal-clear water lakes, and took a break on the grass while I played the hangdrum for them. We all recharged ourselves, marveled at mother nature, and with fully charged batteries, headed back to the city.
It was a whole day trip with the most activities we could do. We spent a wonderful time together, shared stories, and learned a lot from each other. These are exactly the kind of days why I love taking people around Salzburg and showing them the hidden gems of the region.
