I don’t know a better place to watch the moonrise than on the top of Schober. There is a small refuge house where I always spend the night, allowing me to enjoy the magical sunrise in the morning.
Have you ever heard of “Via ferrata”?
Via ferrata, which means “iron way” in Italian, is a type of mountain climbing route where climbers are assisted by steel cables, ladders, steps, and other fixed anchors affixed to the rock. These routes allow climbers to traverse difficult terrain more safely and easily than traditional rock climbing.
As beautiful as this gorge may appear, it can be equally dangerous in winter when temperatures drop below 0°C, and snow covers the path.
As we know, nature is always in a state of constant change. Revisiting a place will never be the same; you will always notice some differences, whether it’s the season, weather, environment, surroundings, flora, among other elements.
